What to Know about Current Home Services Supply Change Challenges

Monday, September 6th, 2021

The last 18 months have been challenging for everyone. The Home Performance Experts at Barron have worked diligently to ensure that our customers throughout Northwest Washington continue to receive top-notch home services—especially during a time where we are spending more time indoors than ever before.

As the pandemic continues to bring upon new challenges, the home services industry is dealing with an equipment shortage and an increase in demand for HVAC services. This raises a couple of questions from homeowners:

  • When is the best time to have equipment installed?
  • When should you have maintenance done?

Please know that Barron has been working diligently so that equipment shortages and inventory issues will not have a major impact on your home’s comfort, especially for essential services like heating, water heating, and power solutions equipment.

Nevertheless, the current situation has impacted most brands across the country. This is not a permanent situation—eventually, the supply chain will return to normal. In the meantime, we expect to see continued challenges for 12-18 months and because of this Barron is working overtime to make sure we can supply you with the essential services your need as we head into the fall and winter season.

Should you invest in Aeroseal duct sealing services? If your household suffers from uneven heating or cooling throughout the living space, inadequate indoor air quality, or high utility bills without cause, then you could benefit from this service.

Perhaps you’ve noticed a buildup of dust in your home or musty odors in the home. This can be due to damaged, leaky ductwork. Your ductwork can actually lose up to 30% of the conditioned air that you’re paying for anyway. Plus, it allows contaminants and allergens in, threatening your indoor air quality.

HVAC Installation: Why You Should Consider the Daikin Fit

At Barron Heating & Air Conditioning, we focus on three pillars: comfort, health, and energy efficiency. There’s no exception when it comes to our products installed and available services. Our team works with some of the best HVAC systems on the market today, including the Daikin Fit heat pump system.

When choosing a system for installation, it’s often tempting for homeowners to go with the cheapest heater or air conditioner they can find. This can be a costly mistake, however. Going with the lowest price version often sacrifices the performance quality for your home, ultimately binding you to high monthly payments to heat and cool your home due to how much energy your HVAC system will consume.

Performance is key! Whether you’re on the market for a new heater, AC system, or both, the Daikin Fit is an affordable option that makes performance a priority, providing the comfort you want while saving you money.
