Trades Scholarship
“Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians, these jobs are in demand right now—big time. For every 5 retiring, just one is entering the trades. As we come into a new year, it’s time to change the definition of “success” and how to achieve it.
My Grandpa Dan founded Barron over fifty years ago with the goal to provide our community with quality service while supporting his employees with exceptional careers. To carry on his legacy, we’re on a mission to prove that a career in the skilled trades is a rewarding one.
In his honor, the Barron Team has created the Dan L. Barron Trades Scholarship, which will provide opportunities to individuals looking to enter the HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing trades.
Barron will provide two $5,000 scholarships to Bellingham Technical College.”

2024 Recipients:
We were honored to donate $5,000 worth of iPads, gear, and software to the Electrician Program at Bellingham Technical College! This year our focus was on making a larger impact that benefits a greater number of students through our scholarship program. We look forward to returning in the Fall to visit with instructor Brad Willbrandt (pictured) and students to teach them more about the technology side of the trades.
