It’s our hope that you made it through the holiday season without any huge plumbing mishaps. After all, it’s the most popular time of the year to need a plumber, whether it’s for clogged plumbing in the kitchen or in the bathroom of your home. Water heaters tend to get a lot of wear this time of the year too, as homeowners tend to have more guests using their showers and such.

Of course, the holiday season isn’t the only time of the year you can have a plumbing problem, particularly a drain clog. In fact, this is one of the most common reasons homeowners call a plumber in our area–and you should call a plumber!

It’s important that you not rely on store-bought drain cleaning chemicals when experiencing a clog, as these are very caustic and can actually do more harm than good for your plumbing system (more on this below). In the meantime, there are some things you can do to prevent drain clogs from forming, to begin with. Read on to learn more.

Monday, December 27th, 2021
sump-pump-in-pit

Chances are, you don’t think a whole lot about your sump pump until you actually need it. The problem with outdoor flooding is that it typically leads to basement flooding, and unless it’s catastrophic, the sump pump is the only thing that can help prevent property damage and damage to appliances and systems kept in the basement.

Weather is unpredictable. The functionality of your sump pump shouldn’t be, though. While storms can happen at any time, pulse plumbing accidents and mishaps can occur seemingly out of the blue, causing water to gush down into the lower areas of your home, you can prevent damage in many cases. Read on to learn how.

The Home Performance Experts at Barron have worked diligently to ensure that our customers throughout Northwest Washington continue to receive top-notch home services—especially during a time where we are spending more time indoors than ever before.

As the pandemic continues to bring upon new challenges, the home services industry is dealing with an equipment shortage and an increase in demand for HVAC services. This raises a couple of questions from homeowners:
